At Anser JH students are led through curriculum that weaves together Science, Social Studies , Language Arts and more to delve into deep and important topics. Anser JH students are just starting a study of “The Omnivore’s Dilemma” in their Science class, that will weave together studies of the impacts of food on migration, climate change, homelessness, community and more. These connections are built upon in Language Arts and Social Studies as students connect migration to our local refugee population, homelessness and its impact on our community and climate change and its connection to how we raise our food. Empowered with this rich and inspiring knowledge, students will design service projects that create the change they wish to see in the world.
